allow others to help

As I wrote before, I observe this project with great interest.

Allow others to fix bugs to battle the "90% complete" problem. You can personally review each fix if you are afraid that someone else might post poor quality code. Reviewing a fix is usually faster than making it yourself.

Release v 4.0 as a beta. By having more eyes and hands you will be albe to spot bugs quicker and also notice rare bugs.

RE: allow others to help

Would be nice to release 4.0 as Beta, without source-code. Let other people help with testing.

Take your time

This is a realy nice program - take your time and make it stable :-D

How about releasing a beta test version ?

I have a habit of saving my file as a copy every 30 minutes anyway.

RE:

Maybe an "autosave" feature - like the one in MS Office - would be a good feature?

RE: RE:

It will be implemented in one of next minor versions.

No worries, better with a stable release later, then a rushed release with problems.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait :)

I don't think so. Although it's succesful model of development it isn't universal salvation of all kind of troubles.
