Notes Text Spacing

Hi all

When creating a NEW note, with say, 5 lines like this:

_______________________________________

Possible Values:

- Delivery

- Sale

- Price-Adjustment

- Return of goods

- Loss / Theft

_______________________________________

Everything is just fine.

BUT: When trying to insert a value into an EXISTING note , The note's text gets blank lines between item-lines. E.G:

_______________________________________

Possible Values:

- Delivery

- Sale

- Price-Adjustment

- Return of goods

- Loss / Theft

_______________________________________

Haven't found a solution, except to re-create the note from anew..

We have not been able to reproduce the issue.

Could we ask which operation system and which version of Software Ideas Modeler do you use?

Thanks for replying!

Win 10 Pro, 64 Bit.

SIM Modeler 11.101 - free (eval) Version.

In my above example, these said empty lines are unfortunately not shown here - that's why both listings look the same here, where as in effect there are 3 to 4 empty lines strewn in...

Further to my previous post:

I now installed the latest version 12.01.

- This problem remains.

- When opening the note in 'element properties', all entries show OK.

- But when closing the properties dialog, these empty lines do show up again.

- I then cut those entries from the dialog and looked at them in my clip management utility and there these empty lines were visible!

- after deleting those empty lines in said utility (clipcache pro) and pasting them into the very same note container, everything looks right!

So there is a work around :-)

Thank you for clarification. The problem may occur when text with system non-default end of lines was pasted. The new version will handle different end of line types - also Unix and Mac ones.

Hi Charles,

The issue with text spacing was solved in version 12.02. It is available to download now.
