Hello,

I have just started using SIMP and I like what I see so far, except that exporting a project to XMI does not seem to work. Whenever I do that, it saves a file with only the bare minimum structure, ignoring the diagram that I have saved in the project.

Does it have something to do with the fact that I'm using the non-commercial license?

I see that MS SQL Server is the only database currently supported. Will you be adding MySQL in version 5?

Any approximate timeline for v5 release?

When I first installed I was able to print to a local printer. However, after shutting down the program the first time and restarting, I no longer see printers listed when I attempt to print. I've rebooted and notice that none of my other programs have this issue. I've been printing from Outlook, Acrobat, etc. with no issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (There appears to be no way to search your Forum to see if anyone else has had this issue. Search capability would be great here.)

For any of you running a file integrity security suite, like Comodo, running SoftwareIdeasModeler in a limited mode will certainly limit its ability to see printers/faxes and to be able to cut/copy/paste and who knows what other Windows services. I had made an attempt to turn off the Comodo suite, but this component was still active.

Hence, I found my issue and no longer need assistance.

Also notice that I cannot copy/paste text in the Documentation tab for widgets. Wonder if this is a design decision or whether I've got some COM interface issue that's keeping me from this and printing.

Hi... I am using your software for the designing of the project diagrams. It works great but i am having some difficulties with the designing. it is very difficult to adjust the line in the DFDs. when I open saved file some of the fields are automatically vanished and the data flow arrows are disturbed. So will you tell me the solution of the problem??
