PDF Export of diagrams ignores page size (#1527)

I want to export a diagram as pdf file. The diagram has a page size of A3. But the export generates a PDF file with page size A4. When i export the diagram by File -> Export -> Export to Image the original page size is ignored. With Diagram -> Export i can adjust the output page size and the diagram export works well.

Is there any reason, why the page size is always A4 and is not as defined in diagram properties ?
