Version 5.40 Crashes on Launch (#88)

I've been running SIM for quite awhile. I am not sure what the last working version was but about six months ago. Updated and now it fails after the Personal/Company confirmation dialog.

When you try Portable version (http://www.softwareideas.net/Download/172/Software-Ideas-Modeler--v-5-40----ZIP-Package) does the program work or does it crash as well?

I'll check. But I did uninstall and try 5.3. It failed the same way; however 5.0 installed and ran just fine.

This is the first report of this problem. I have to do detailed analysis to find out what could cause it.

Uninstalled 5.0 and installed 5.4 portable and it worked just fine.

BTW - impressively fast response!
